ERM Studio: the collection is Materia Digital

Each ERM Studio’s creation urges to break the rules of perception. Its forms deny all traditional categories—sharp yet fluid, massive yet weightless. Nothing is accidental: each and every detail creates tension with an effect of perpetual motion, even when you just stand still in front of it in complete silence. Those objects do much more than simply decorate a space— each one redefine its very essence.

PHILOSOPHY: FORM AND INTENT

The collection “Materia Digital” represents a convergence between digital technology and material artistic expression, exploring multiple scenarios of possible geometric creation within a digital code.
This formal exploration stems from the application of basic functions of a parametric design program, aspiring to expand and complexify them in order to give life to intricate geometries imbued with an aesthetic that evokes organic engineering.

In each ERM Studio’s item lies a philosophy that unites cutting-edge technology with artisanship. The process begins with digital modeling. Parametric design software helps to generate the foundation—geometrically complex forms that serve as the starting point for each item.
Then comes the material transformation. Aluminum, chosen for its strength and aesthetic qualities, undergoes a casting process. Molten metal fills the molds, marking the transition from virtual concept to tangible reality.

The final stage is where true uniqueness emerges – artisanal. Metal surfaces are meticulously refined by hands: polished, textured and sculpted to enhance the designer’s vision. This is where hose forms reveal all their dramatic presence and energy.

Recently ERM Studio started new brand EN__RO in collaboration with young designer @nadiaot. First collection became the exploration of Materia Digital creative process, marking the beginning of a journey into the world of jewelry and accessories.
