«We are putting all the good news from the world of design in the spotlight»

Zurich Design Weeks 2024 takes place from 12 to 29 September 2024 at various locations across Zürich, Switzerland. The 18-day-long festival includes exhibitions, talks, presentations, workshops, parties and other fringe events following the theme Good News.

Florascope

The Polestar Space Zurich will be transformed into a floral wonderland during Zurich Design Weeks. The installation, titled "Floralscope," is a collaboration between Swedish graphic designer Nicklas Hultman and Zurich designer Nadya Suvorova. While flowers have long played a central role in Nicklas Hultman’s work, he is now exploring for the first time how these can be combined with parts of a vehicle. The interplay of nature and technology also fascinates interaction and graphic of designer Nadya Suvorova. Here, the two designers talk about their collaboration and how the project came about.

"neue räume 24"

Over 80 exhibitors from 10 countries will showcase in the international interior design exhibition "neue räume 24" the latest living trends, new products, and design objects. At the exhibition opening, the fourth, updated, and revised edition of the Swiss Furniture Encyclopedia will be presented, complemented by the publication “New Swiss Furniture.” The Swiss Furniture Encyclopedia includes the most interesting designs of Swiss provenance from 1920 to 2023. The new publication takes an in-depth look at the current work of contemporary designers.

«It’s time for a good night’s sleep»

The immersive exhibition «It’s time for a good night’s sleep» will dedicate to the importance of a good night's sleep in achieving cognitive function, focus, motivation, and overall well-being. The exhibition is organized by IKEA Switzerland.
